A biting thriller featuring Affleck as a neuro-atypical accountant who just happens to work for various criminal enterprises. But he's got a heart, honest. Look, he's stopped them losing the farm! That's almost stereotypically nice.
Sarcasm aside, he actually does a really good job of acting in this. He's both nerdy about maths and nerdy about killing. And he kills at doing maths. Kills less at doing Anna Kendrick. Though the romantic resolution of that little sub-plot is actually a pleasant surprise.
And I really enjoyed the resolution to the main plot. Surprisingly well put together, and unexpectedly realistic in the moment given the slightly silly rest of film. Worth a watch.
