Avast, me hearties! Welcome to our jolly world of turn-based, physics-incorporated space piracy. We be a humble collection of steam powered robots who be trying to rid the galaxy-
"System", Captain.
System, thank you Pedantic Pete, from even worse pirates, who do terrible things, like steal all our water, build zombie robots and use...eeeelectricity!
So, to defeat this monstrous threat, we must board their levels, sorry, "ships" and then ransack their swag, steal all their water and kill them!
Just a quick question Cap, asking for a friend, like, doesn't that make us as least as bad as or possibly a bit worse than them?
Shut your face Ethical Eddie, or I'll break you down for parts. We're the good guys. You can tell, because I'm juuuust a little bit sexy.
Anyway, just to get back to the important things, like killing, once we've boarded a ship, me mates and I will take turns shooting the evil pirates, with some strange, mysterious force guiding me arm, so that me bullets ricochet off scenery and shoot robots in the back of the head. Or in the explosives. Or if the strange force is a bit useless, in the heavily reinforced cover. Wait a minute, did I just say "take turns"? What, am I supposed to just stand their while these ruthless killing machines take shots at me? Why in space would I do that, Gameplay-Justification Greg?
Pirate code?
Probably. Blasted pirate code. That be the last time I be extracting any unlabeled zip files. Anyway, we be killing the swine with a wide range of weapons, bombs, upgrades and nice hats. I look especially good in a bonnet.
Highly recommended.
