October 2021 Audio Drama, Fiction and RPG Podcast Debut Releases

Every month, there are a large number of new audio drama and fiction podcasts released. These monthly lists collate everything I can find that has released an Ep1 in its dedicated fiction RSS feed for the relevant month. Feel free to shout in the comments if you've got more information or corrections and I'll update with anything I'm missing.

And tell me which ones I should be listening to. What have you enjoyed this month?

10/1: Back To The Bunker
(Dramatised - Post-apocalypse)
In this new horror podcast for 2021, it’s been 525 days since The Terror began—a global, supernatural apocalypse. The only known survivors are Maxwell, longtime host of The Bunker: a conspiracy- and paranormal-themed radio show. Along with his wife and producer Vicki, he has gathered enough fuel and supplies to begin broadcasting on amateur radio. In each episode, Maxwell describes his and Vicki’s daily life living in The Terror, while also reading emails sent to him before all lines of communication finally went down. These "Letters from The Terror" describe the strange and terrifying events that have taken place all around the world. With each new episode, Maxwell struggles to understand the nature of The Terror while sharing his coordinates as he hopes to bring other survivors Back to the Bunker

Some of you may call what I find myths, folklore, or even urban legends, but I can assure you they are nothing of the sort.

Not convinced? Well, let’s see what sort of recollections we can scare up together.

When deciding what route we wanted to take for our first series, we all came to an agreeance in regards to our common love of thrillers and psychological mysteries. Inspired by shows like the Twilight Zone and Black Mirror, and countless horror movies, we set out to create worlds of our own... on a budget! Perhaps one day we will expand into more, but we found the podcast experience to be one that was easy to produce on a limited budget, and a way we didn't have to limit our storytelling. We hope you enjoy what is to come!
